Former University of New Mexico President F. Chris Garcia Arrested in Online Prostitution Ring Bust

Albuquerque Police, armed with a search warrant, raided the home and office of former UNM President F. Chris Garcia.  Police seized computers, electronic storage devices, sex toys, pornographic videos, sex books, a folder with copies of criminal statutes on prostitution, and notepads with information regarding the alleged online prostitution operation known as “Southwest Companions”.  Garcia is charged with promoting prostitution, evidence tampering, and conspiracy.

The investigation into the website, known as www.southwestcompanions.info, also resulted in the arrest of David Flory, a Farleigh Dickinson University professor in New Jersey, purported to have a vacation home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
